MARE is unique in its offerings!

At MARE, we have a unique vision for buying a second home in Spain. Instead of large-scale developments, we deliberately focus on a limited number of exclusive and special projects each year. These are always located in enchanting Andalusia, where the mild microclimate and year-round appeal provide the perfect foundation. This region brings together the best of both worlds: expansive beaches, the azure sea, vibrant cities, and idyllic villages—a harmonious mix of nature and culture.

Our focus is specifically on the beautiful existing properties with history and class in the Andalusia region, and we have a number of good reasons for this:

  • New construction for tourism is no longer permitted in this region.

  • These character-filled villas each tell their own unique story, exude a special atmosphere, and carry a rich history with them. Here, you immediately get that feeling of coming home.

  • What makes these villas so unique is that they were built in places that were still available at the time: quiet and secluded from the hustle and bustle, yet a short distance from all the vibrancy and fun.

A Prime Location

Our projects are located in an area where nature and authenticity have been preserved, while all the conveniences and attractions of the Costa del Sol and the inland are close by.

This isn't just a place; it's a dream location you might not have even known still existed. Thanks to the unique MARE concept, it is now within your reach.

Andalusia: The Pearl of Spain

According to us and many others, this is the most beautiful and versatile region in Spain. With no less than 330 sunny days a year, you can enjoy a wonderful climate here. The summers are warm but never too hot, and the mild winters make this area ideal for outdoor activities, even in January when the temperature is around 20°C. It's a destination where you can fully enjoy yourself in every season!

A Paradise for Nature Lovers

If you love nature and the outdoors, Andalusia is a true paradise. Here you can fully enjoy activities like hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. The region is known for its breathtaking natural parks, from the impressive mountains of the Sierra Nevada, where you can ski in winter, to the rolling hills full of olive groves. It's a destination where tranquility and adventure go hand in hand.

The Charming White Villages

The region is also famous for its more than 60 charming white villages. Here you're away from mass tourism but still not far from cities like Malaga (30-50 km). You'll find white villages clinging to the hillsides, where it feels as if time has stood still. Walk through narrow streets, discover hidden squares, and enjoy a glass of local wine in a traditional bodega. Life here is authentic and often much more affordable than in busy tourist areas. A beer on a terrace costs an average of €1.20, and you can often get a delicious meal for just €10.

The Most Beautiful Beaches and Intimate Coves

And of course, there are the stunning beaches and idyllic coves. Although the Costa del Sol can sometimes be a bit busier, charming coastal towns like Nerja and Torres offer the perfect mix of peace and liveliness. Here you can sunbathe, take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water, or savor fresh fish in a cozy beach bar. The coast has something for everyone, and you won't find massive crowds here.

The Best Region for a 12-Month-a-Year Vacation

Andalusia offers so much more than just sun. Here, you can enjoy the sunniest microclimate in Europe, friendly prices, hospitable locals, a rich, authentic culture, and breathtaking nature. It's a region you simply have to experience for yourself.

Save time, save money, and skip the hassle.

Much more for much less.

Spain is currently extremely popular, which brings its own challenges. In many regions, the housing shortage for the local population is growing, while at the same time, plenty of holiday homes are being built. These holiday homes, however, are empty for most of the year, with only 10 to 12 weeks of actual use per year. This results in an inefficient use of scarce and valuable space.

That's why our shared ownership concept offers an excellent alternative.

Consider the costs: If you buy a holiday home, costs like maintenance, taxes, and insurance run for 52 weeks a year, while you only enjoy it for a small part of the year.

Consider the practicality: Everything is ready when you arrive. You don't have to first clean the pool or arrange for housekeeping—you can just start enjoying your time immediately. It's not just any holiday house, but a unique and special stay—your own dream palace, complete with all the luxury and comfort you thought wasn't possible.

Consider the use: Renting out the property can be an option, but in practice, this often doesn't happen. Many owners want to use the home themselves during holidays, and renting it out outside those periods involves a lot of hassle, such as coordination, management, and the complexity of tax regulations.

Consider the knowledge: We know the locations, the special sights, and the well-kept secrets.

Consider the investment: Our properties are carefully selected and purchased at attractive prices. Thanks to their valuable nature and growth potential, you can count on a rising value. Moreover, you are always completely free to sell your share at any time—potentially at a profit.

In short, you get to enjoy much more for much less cost, with hardly any hassle. Because that's exactly what you get a lot less of.
